Nicole Scherzinger's return to the X Factor left viewers wanting more but there was a reason for it.
Speaking later on ITV2 spin-off show the Xtra Factor, Nicole revealed that her performance - which was labelled 'boring' by some on Twitter - was affected by a power failure.
The former X Factor judge explained that originally her performance was due to feature lasers behind her but a 'power failure' put paid to that, leaving her singing in the darkness.
She told Sarah: "It doesn't even matter if you had lasers or whatever, as long as you sing your heart out."
